bentley done and dusted.

finally! stand to win 50 quid on this from skybet ;)

should be announced today....

s.

big week...

alot of my sources seem to be 'very excited' from what they're hearing. looks like some movement this week...

get the feeling arshavin and bentley will be announced very soon.

good times ahead...

s.

we no longer dream of a team of robbie keanes.

we'll that's done and dusted then.... good business i think.

in addition to Arshavin, i've been told told Veloso is very much on our list...

fingers crossed we announce a signing shortly, some no doubt will start to lose the faith.

s.

the green judas?

so, the end of the line...

robbie keane will join liverpool this week... i've just received confirmation he's due at melwood training ground TODAY.

i'm really really undecided on this whole issue. is he a judas, isn't he? it was only about a month ago he made that interview on sky sports declaring his 'love' for the club...

there's no questionning his tottenham years, but to do it oh so soon , the season after we finally won something... the captain in ledley's absence is just argh.

i thank robbie for his service at the lane, but WILL NOT be clapping him on his return.

have received some conflicting news re: bentley. one source says its now 50/50, just don't want to be mugged off over the fee, another seems to believe it'll be announced straight after keane's departure to soften the blow.

on a closing note, robbo has left to join blackburn and friedel has joined the villians as previously stated here ;)

no player is ever bigger than a club and we'll replace robbie with class. i'm backing ramos to get it right... the funds are there now.

departure and arrivals lounge.

guys, as i told you the news prior to it hitting the press last week about the 'gang of 4' leaving and more recently TT and chimbo the other day agreeing personal terms ... teemu tainio this evening has completed his move to sunderland. chimbo will follow shortly...

as a spurs fan, teemu gave it his all EVERY time he put on the famous shirt. he might of had his fair share of injuries over the years but i for one will be clapping him on his return to white hart lane in august.

chimbo is a different kettle of fish, i'm told he is now sunderlands top earner... this is the guy who handed in a transfer request one day after a season with wigan and who was on big bucks at the lane. think that says it all.. still, he's had his part to play over the years and was a member of our carling cup winning side in feb with teemu. good luck fella.

moving on from the past, to the future.

i've been asked why i've been quiet on the talk of a certain russian captain...

well i didn't have enough info until now, but can confirm that we had 3 members of our scouting system watching him in the flesh tonight when zenit played. one of them was our sporting director...

finally, as previously mentioned too - robinson to blackburn could well be on now that brad friedel, who i must say has been an excellent servant to rovers down the years, is heading to villa. been told robbo is the number one target. again it could fall into place with the bentley deal... i'm hoping to have an update on these two deals very very shortly.

it's gonna be a busy couple of days folks so keep on reading.

all the best,

s.

hola.

just received the following quote...

' david villa is back at the top of our wanted list '.

ohmy!

on a different issue, bentley has left blackburn's tour of germany... read into that as you will.

not looking so doom and gloom now is it?

s.

snippet of an update...

bentley deal is apparently edging a little nearer...

we're definitely being mugged about with this. should of been 'done' a while ago.
apparently the fee will change if friedel goes to villa... if that's the case, we're prepared to throw in robbo as the deal.

if it's straight cash, it won't be all up front. levy isn't that daft ;)

on a separate note, weve offered some dough to the 4 players wanted by sunderland to hurry the deal through, a pay off in a sense...

i've been informed teemu and chimbo have now both agreed personal terms with them.

s.

levy speaks out..

i'm sure you've all have read the official announcement from our chairman daniel levy by now... it's great to see levy acting in this way, but i can't help but think it's just to soften the blow of the inevitable departure of both robbie and dimi...

what are the implications of reporting utd and liverpool? we might have earned a few extra quid in the process...

as i told you guys earlier this week, berba is set to leave for a price in the high 20s - i'm still lead to believe this is the case. it's great business for someone we plucked out of germany for just under 11 million quid, no?

aside of this major talking point, as previously stated there will be a clearout with spurs wanting dough ASAP ... it's already begun with chimbo agreeing in principle to join roy keane, but let's remember this guy has eyes on one thing only and that's money... i think sunderland will offer him top dollar to play at right back, he'll do well... fair play to them. fingers crossed we get near to the figures being branded about in the media, i haven't got any info on this i'm afraid.

don't be surprised if younes tries to hold out to a move with 'arry down on the south coast though... personal feeling more than anything.

to finish up on i reported on a certain forum mid week that robbo could be going to blackburn... i have been promised more on this in the next 48 hours, more than likely with bentley news too...

watch this space.
s.

the great tottenham sale.

so following on from my reports yesterday / confirmation in the press late last night it would appear we're desperately trying to offload players ASAP to boost our transfer kitty.

i've been told to expect alot of movement in the coming 10 days starting from this weekend... interesting!

players on our radar are still: bentley and capel. would appear milito's name won't go away either...

lead to believe we are trying to offload robbo to blackburn in the bentley deal to lower the asking price... there are some reports today that we've had a bid rejected for the ex gooner, one of my sources can't get much closer to this deal and is yet to confirm this is true... will keep you updated.

on top of that, the russian striker i mentioned yesterday... we are deffo looking at - had scouts out at the last russian game the other day.

some bad news to end the afternoon... there are a few little rumours that ledley has gone over on his knee... just rumours people , my guess is because of his absence in the first friendly people have got speculating, not news from a source i must add... fingers crossed this isn't the case.

no doubt i'll be posting again in the coming days, if not hours!

s.

welcome.

guys,

i thought it made sense to keep all the info i receive in one place. this way, i won't be bothering you all every couple of hours with info! you are welcome to visit this page at your own leisure... bookmark it, 'cos i'll update it whenever i get info...

as some of you will of noticed the info close season has been pretty spot on, most notabley with bostock , gomes and now the bids for steed, teemu and chimbo.

one of my main sources still stands by the words of 'berba is a done deal with utd'. so that's all i can say on that matter...

bentley i think is still a goer, we are trying to scrape some extra dough by flogging some deadwood to complete this deal. dragging a bit...

i have received some new info tonight that we are making enquires for the russian striker who appeared at the euros Pavlyuchenko... maybe a replacement for dimi? who knows. source is the same fella who told me about Gomes, so knows his stuff...

got the feeling the next week could be a busy one for us ....

hope you find this enjoyable!
