wilson / training match update.
as mentioned tuesday, we made an enquiry for wigan midfield... but it's been turned down.
i'm told we're still very confident of striking a deal, think he may come in next week for around £12m. lot of money i must admit...
hearing conflicting views on yesterdays training ground match -v- grays.
appiah was good, appiah was shit... everyone has an opinion i guess. giovani, rocha, taraabt, benoit e and ex gooner quincy owusu also played in the game... i think spurs won 2-0, goals grom gio and david hutton.
appiah's fitness and wage demands may be a stumbling block on the deal - more when i hear it.

'arry era in milano ieri sera.
'arry was at the inter v genoa match last night. told adriano wasn't the only player he was looking at but is keen to sort something with the brazillian hitman. not sure if he'll come though personally?
appiah's got a training ground match today to prove his fitness levels.

jd comes home / left winger update.
well there you have it... jd has come home, managed to bag £40 on the transfer. "happy days".
right, so we've had a high high bid for downing rejected today, i personally can't see us making him our record signing... been told, as mentioned sunday, that stephen hunt remains a realistic alternative.
steve finnan is also another name floating about still, could possibly fit in at rb - which will allow corluka to play at cb when king isn't fit.
harry wants to do all his business asap, no messing around at the last minute of the window.

evening update.
appiah apparently was top draw in training, a deal is being processed which will see him sign til the end of the season. fairly big wage mind.
super edgar davids was at spurs lodge today, wonder why he was there? coaching role perhaps? no idea...
told downing will be a no go as mentioned yesterday, they are not budging on our improved 8mill offer today - which may see the end of our interest.
to close, told defoe should be wrapped up in a few days... progress from yesterday... hopefully 'done' before sunday's clash with wigan.
we can nearly sing it folks... "jermain defoe he's a yi...
on a non spurs related note, been told santa cruz is going to city.

bit of an update on jd / left winger.
heard today it's getting close... fingers crossed this week the main man will be back in a spurs shirt.
also been informed we've enquired for s hunt at reading after our bid for downing has been knocked back. doesn't look like steve gibson wants to do business with us for the boro skipper...
